When you first visit Dr. Fedin, he will take a detailed health history. If you feel you need sleep dentistry, he will do a thorough medical assessment; to be certain there are no contraindications that would put you at risk. If you’re comfortable, the doctor will look in your mouth and take dental x-rays. Next you’ll be given a prescription for a sedative medication to take the night before your second appointment so you can enjoy a good night’s sleep. You will be relaxed when you arrive and as you become comfortably sedated, you will become almost completely unaware of the sights, sounds and smells around you. |
