Vladimir Fedin, DDS
Dr. Fedin attended Northwestern University Dental School and graduated in 1995. Since then, he has completed over 15,000 implant procedures. He is the head dentist at Chicago Dental Arts and has been recognized by Chicago Magazine and the Sun-Times as one of Chicago’s leading dentists and implantology experts.
Dr. Fedin has been practicing dentistry in Chicago for 30 years, where his mission is to provide exceptional, pain-free dental care built on over 30 years of experience. Chicago Dental Arts specializes in implant, cosmetic and comfort dentistry, combining advanced technology with a compassionate, patient-first approach to help you achieve a healthy, confident smile without discomfort. He is also bilingual in Russian, allowing him to connect with patients who may face potential language barriers. Dr. Fedin promotes relaxation dentistry for patients with dental anxiety or phobia and for long or surgical procedures. This philosophy helps to ensure his patients have pain and anxiety-free dental experiences while obtaining the highest quality of results.
Dr. Fedin continues his own training and education to provide the most advanced and proven technologies available. In his free time, Dr. Fedin enjoys going to the beach in Florida, spending time with family, and playing tennis with his two sons, Leo and Evan.

Dr. Daniel Smulson, a native of Niles, Illinois, has dedicated over 35 years to delivering exceptional periodontal care to patients. With a family legacy of dentistry (his father and brothers all pursued careers in the field) Dr. Smulson’s passion for dentistry began at a young age. Following in his family’s footsteps, he chose to pursue a career in dentistry after high school, driven by a desire to provide top-notch care and make a lasting impact on his community.
Dr. Smulson earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry and completed his periodontal surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in 1983. As our in-house expert in periodontal surgery, he specializes in advanced procedures such as osseous surgery, connective tissue grafts and free tissue grafts. Dr. Smulson’s extensive expertise also encompasses scaling and root planing and crown lengthening, ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care for optimal oral health.
