Single Tooth Implant

Did you know that millions of Americans suffer from tooth loss? Whether it’s decay, periodontal disease or an injury to the mouth, it is important to seek the necessary treatment to restore the look and functionality of your smile. Oftentimes, this sought-after solution is dental implants. Dental implants are composed of three different parts to help improve your smile!

At Chicago Dental Arts, we take pride in offering you the pain- and the anxiety-free solution for which you are looking. Our dental implant process makes it easy to take back your smile and navigate life the confidence that you deserve.

A single tooth implant is surgically inserted into your jaw and a replacement tooth is securely fastened to the implant. The implant allows for maximum stability to ensure your replacement mimics the functions of a natural tooth. Your tooth will also be engineered to match your teeth and accommodate your bone structure. Advantages of dental implants are many, including improved appearance, improved speech, improved comfort, easier eating, durability, improved oral health, convenience and improved self-esteem.

Single Tooth Implant: What to Expect

The dental implant process is composed of three easy steps:

  1. ConeBeam 3D Scan and treatment planning
You will meet with an experienced dentist for a state-of-the-art x-ray to ensure precise and safe dental implant treatment.
  2. Surgical placement into the patient’s jaw
Using sedation dentistry, you can rest assured that you will be comfortable throughout the implant procedure. Plus, securing the base of the implant into your jaw helps promote healthy jaw bone growth to avoid the sunken-in facial appearance that many people experience as they get older.
  3. Tooth placement in jaw – Integrated implant
Your replacement tooth will be attached to your implant to provide the look, feel and function of any natural tooth – making it virtually impossible to tell the two apart.

With the proper care and an astounding 98 percent success rate, dental implants can permanently improve your smile, your speech, your eating, and your confidence.  It is a simple yet impactful procedure that many of our patients have taken advantage of.
